A new kosher food concept is launching in San Diego this summer with multiple limited-time pop-up events. Burekas Box, which specializes in Israeli-style dairy burekas, is offering locals a chance to sample its handmade pastries ahead of the debut of its fully kosher, zero-emissions cafe truck.

Burekas Box Launches San Diego Pop-Ups Using a Zero-Emissions Kosher Food Truck

All pickups will take place at 8585 Commerce Avenue, San Diego, CA. Orders must be placed in advance via the Burekas Box website and picked up during the designated times. Walk-ups will not be accepted as previous pop-ups have already sold out.

Burekas Box aims to deliver a traditional bureka experience with a modern twist. Each bureka is crafted from handmade puff pastry and filled with savory or sweet ingredients, inspired by flavors commonly found in Israeli street food. Every savory order is served with the customary accompaniments of hard-boiled egg, pickles, olives, grated tomato, and spicy sauce.
