Ringo Starr currently is on a break between tour legs with his group the All Starr Band, and he took time to post a video message for fans on his social media pages.
During the clip the legendary Beatles drummer shared some cool news about a new music project. In January, Starr released a country-flavored studio album titled Look Up that was produced by T Bone Burnett. The multi-talented and Grammy-winning Burnett also wrote or co-wrote nearly all of the tracks on the album.
In the update, Ringo revealed, “I’m in the studio here now doing another album with T Bone. Thank you, Lord. Woo. Yeah.”
He added, “Get ready for the next album, Look Up Two. Starr then chuckled and said, “It won’t be called that, I don’t think.”
Interspersed with Starr’s comments was footage of Ringo in his home studio chatting with Burnett and playing the drums.
