Born in Melbourne in 2012, the family-run brand has more than 75 locations in Australia, according to a news release. After expanding to Singapore in 2025, it opened a shop in London in August 2026.

Fro-yo has had people lining up this summer, especially in New York, where MYKA Greek Frozen Yogurt has been trending in recent months. 

Yo-Chi offers frozen yogurt containing live probiotics made from fresh milk. Most flavors are 98% fat free, according to its website. 

The original flavors include the Signature Tart, Salted Butterscotch, Classic Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry Cream. There are also seasonal flavors like Cookies and Cream, Mango, Matcha and Coconut. The store also offers organic açai bowls, or a thick purée made from blended frozen açai berries.

The self-serve store has more than 40 toppings, including nuts, chocolate chips, mini mochi, cookie dough and pistachio spread. Customers can also add sauces, warm brownies, fresh fruit cut daily and chocolate chunk cookie cakes to their swirls of yogurt. There’s also a chocolate cowboy hat topping for the Inwood Village location’s opening.

“Yo-Chi is different to any other frozen yogurt the U.S. has ever seen,” Oliver Allis, co-owner and chief brand officer, said in the news release. “For the Dallas community, expect us to look after the locals whenever we get the chance.”

Yo-Chi hopes to share “chi,” or positive energy, its website says.

It strives to be sustainable by not selling plastic bottled water or soft drinks, offering reusable bowls, using paper napkins made from recycled paper and more. Stores also provide a free water-refill station.

“Dallas felt like the perfect place to bring that to the U.S. for the first time, it’s social, it’s got energy, and that’s exactly the kind of city Yo-Chi was built for,” Allis said in the release. “We can’t wait for Texas to feel it for themselves.”

The brand plans to open more locations in the U.S., the release said.

Yo-Chi Inwood Village will be at 5710 W. Lovers Lane in fall 2026. The NorthPark location will open later at 8687 N. Central Expressway.
