Almost every product Apple touches turns to gold, and a wristwatch is no exception. The tech giant has three smartwatch tiers, and the Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 11, and Apple Watch Ultra 3 are the latest to hit the market. While all three versions essentially bring a supercomputer to your wrist, the Series 11 offers many advanced tracking metrics in its slim profile without jumping into the premium price category.

As the midrange model, the Series 11 is already more affordable than the ultra-rugged Apple Watch Ultra 3. However, a rare deal caught our eye that makes it even more enticing: Target has it on sale for $100 off right now, slashing 25% from its $399.99 list price and bringing it down to only $299.99. That’s only about $50 more than the budget-friendly Apple Watch SE 3!

One thing about the Series 11 is that it’s beautiful and bright—it delivers up to 2000 nits of brightness to the OLED display, so you can check the time or take a gander at your notifications easily in direct sunlight. It comes in 42mm or 46mm display sizes to choose between, too. The screen is made of glass twice as scratch-resistant as its predecessor, and the aluminum chassis is available in Rose Gold, Jet Black, or Space Gray for this deal.

Now, under the brilliant OLED screen, the Series 11 runs on Apple’s S10 chip with a 64-bit dual-core processor. It enables those smooth app animations, Siri queries, fitness tracking, and all other daily operations. It also powers the extra goodies the SE 3 doesn’t offer, like blood oxygen tracking, depth gauging and water temperature sensing (don’t worry, it’s water-resistant up to 50 meters), hypertension notifications, sleep apnea detection, and more.

Many people don’t just get an Apple Watch because they want their iPhone’s notifications on their wrist, and they certainly don’t just get one to have the time handy. Fitness and health tracking are one of the biggest draws of a smartwatch, and the Series 11 delivers those metrics in spades. Not only does it offer sleep tracking and heart rate monitoring, but the smartwatch can track over 100 preset and custom workouts—indoors, outdoors, and even underwater. It can also automatically detect them, so you don’t have to worry about missing out on your data if you forget to hit ‘start.’ The cherry on top is its improved battery life, which we clocked at reaching 43 hours!

Recommended by Our Editors

When we reviewed the Apple Watch Series 11, PCMag expert Andrew Gebhart gave it a rare 4.5/5 rating. Because of its quality, performance, and polished upgrades over the Series 10, it earned our Editors’ Choice award for the best smartwatch for most iPhone users. And because Apple deals are a rare thing these days, a 25% off deal isn’t a sale you hesitate to snag.
