Fort Worth-based Crescent Real Estate has named Troy Furbay as managing director of hospitality, the company announced Tuesday. In his new role, Furbay will oversee Crescent’s hospitality investment platform, focusing on identifying new opportunities, optimizing portfolio performance, and advancing the firm’s strategic vision in the sector.

Furbay brings decades of experience in lodging and real estate investment, most recently serving as chief investment officer at DiamondRock Hospitality. There, he led a strategic shift toward resort, lifestyle, and independent hotel assets, achieving performance that outpaced industry benchmarks. His previous roles include leadership positions at Loews Hotels, Kimpton Hotels, and MeriStar Hospitality.
