BARRON, Wis. — A man was stopped after authorities said he drove 114 mph in a 55 mph zone after leaving a golf course following what he described as a bad game Sunday morning, according to the Barron County Sheriff’s Office. 

The traffic stop occurred on 19th Street.

The man told a sheriff’s deputy that he left the course early after losing all of his golf balls.
