KOYO Hand Roll Bar, a made-to-order hand roll sushi restaurant, has opened in the Heights.

What’s on the menu

KOYO, which means “autumn leaves,” according to the restaurant’s website, has a menu that offers shareables, hand rolls, beer and sake.

Hand roll options include:

  • Salmon
  • Spicy tuna
  • Truffle yellowtail
  • Blue crab
  • Fatty tuna
  • Spicy scallop
  • Brown butter lobster

The details

The 1,218-square-foot space opened in mid-July. The new building cost approximately $140,000 and went through four months of construction, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
