CHAMPION TWP. – Five suspects are charged in connection with a recent case of vandalism at a Champion Township golf course.
Champion Township Police Chief Larry Skaggs tells 21 News that five suspects are currently charged: Joshua Meese (18), Colton Sharpe (18), Colton Alford (18), Camren Corrigan (19) and Brady Bell (18).
Court records show all five are charged with one fourth-degree felony count of vandalism. All have been arrested following Sharpe’s arrest on Thursday afternoon.

A warrant has been issued for Sharpe’s arrest, according to court records.
Additionally, Skaggs says charges are pending against two juvenile suspects. Those charges are expected to be filed in the coming days.
The charges stem from vandalism at the Cranberry Hills Golf Course in July, in which eight golf carts and the fourth hole green were damaged or destroyed.
Golf course owner Steve Welch told 21 News the damage is estimated to be around $40,000.
Welch said four golf carts were damaged beyond repair and hole four will be unplayable for about a year.
Meese, Alford, Corrigan and Bell are all due back in court on September 3. Meanwhile, Sharpe is set to be arraigned on Friday, August 28.
