An off-duty officer was stabbed in South Philadelphia on Tuesday afternoon, police said. 

The stabbing happened on the 1700 block of South 32nd Street at around 4:45 p.m., according to police. 

Police said the officer was taken to the hospital, but their condition wasn’t made available. 

A suspect was arrested in connection with the stabbing, according to police.
