Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) reportedly called in a crash between a DART train and a passenger vehicle at the intersection of Jim Miller Road and CF Hawn Freeway near the Buckner station. Buckner is DART’s most southeastern stop.
The crash happened around 6:40 p.m.
A DFR rescue unit actually drove up on the accident as it happened, according to DFR.
The driver of the vehicle was stuck inside, but crews were able to get the driver out. The driver was hospitalized in critical condition.
DART police are investigating what caused the accident.
