Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson are creating serious buzz around Hollywood not just for their upcoming Naked Gun reboot but also for whispers of a potential off-screen romance.
The two stars played coy about their relationship status during a recent appearance on Today, where host Craig Melvin didn’t waste any time asking the question on everyone’s mind.
“What’s the deal here?” Melvin asked during the July 29 episode. “You’re both single right now. There’s clearly chemistry on display throughout this film. Are you two an item?”
“Craig!” Neeson replied with mock outrage, while Anderson feigned confusion and pretended not to understand the question.
“I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry — as two actors,” the Taken star explained. “It’s like, ‘Oh, this is nice. Let’s not mold this. Let’s just let it breathe.’ And that’s what we did.”
Melvin replied, “We’re watching the beginning of the breathing of a budding relationship. America’s here for it, we’re here for whatever this turns into.”
The chemistry between Neeson and Anderson has also been evident in their red carpet appearances, and the Baywatch alum previously gushed about working with him.
“We have a connection that is very sincere, very loving,” Anderson said, per The Times. “The chemistry was important.”
Neeson, who joked that his favorite part of filming Naked Gun was “the sex scenes,” added that Anderson was “funny, incredibly sexy” and that their chemistry “came naturally.”
While neither of them have yet to officially confirm the dating rumors, fans are all for the two becoming an item.

The action star was previously married to actress Natasha Richardson before she died in a tragic skiing accident in 2009. Since then, he’s remained single and focused on raising their two sons, Micheál and Daniel.
Anderson was famously married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee from 1995 to 1998, and they also share two sons.
