Phoenix (13-26) will play its final game on Saturday before the WNBA’s break for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup.
The Mercury will host Toronto (11-28) at Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Tipoff between the Mercury and Tempo is slated for 10 p.m. EDT.
According to Saturday’s WNBA transactions, former Lady Vol forward Marta Suarez is listed as questionable and is in concussion protocol for Phoenix.
Guard Kelsey Plum is also listed as out for the Mercury (left lower leg), while Phoenix guard Kahleah Copper is probable (left ankle).
Suarez played at Tennessee from 2020-23. She appeared in 36 games, including 14 starts, and totaled 160 points, 122 rebounds, 24 assists, 11 steals and two blocks. The former Lady Vol was named SEC Freshman of the Week on Jan. 26, 2021.

Aug. 31 through Sept. 16 will mark a break for the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup. The WNBA regular will resume Sept. 17.
