Combining a classic tall boot silhouette with a flip-flop-style thong toe, the new $99.99 release drops in two neutral colourways designed to elevate everyday streetwear.
Featuring a pull-on design and a sleek kitten heel height, the shoes are the ultimate statement piece to “pair effortlessly with dresses, skirts, and tailored separates for day-to-night styling”, Glassons says.
While high-fashion houses like Balenciaga and Miu Miu have previously sent thong-style boots and open-toe heels down international runways, Glassons is bringing the divisive Y2K trend straight to the everyday high street.

This isn’t the first time the Aussie retailer has set social media on fire with its footwear choices.
Known across Australia and New Zealand as a go-to destination for affordable, trend-driven fashion, Glassons has built a massive cult following on TikTok and Instagram for its quick turnarounds on micro-trends.

Unsurprisingly, the unusual hybrid design immediately split opinion across social media, with many shoppers praising the cute and unique design.
