A lifelong member of the Azle community and 1981 graduate of Azle High School, Tammy worked for Azle ISD as a music aide for five years before spending many years in retail management. Tammy’s greatest joy was her family. She loved them fiercely and was always their biggest cheerleader. She had a deep love for her Lord and Savior and took great pride in her Native American heritage, enjoying beadwork and spending time at pow-wows selling regalia supplies. She is survived by her daughter, Traci Evans and husband Dow; grandsons, Thomas, Austin, and Jaxon Evans; sister, Kim Newton and husband; niece, Britney Bagby and husband; and great-nephew, Ben Bagby. Tammy will be deeply missed, but her family finds comfort in her faith and in knowing she is home with the Lord. She will be remembered for the way she loved her family wholeheartedly, celebrated their lives, and was always there to cheer them on.
