Delaware’s largest healthcare provider is now requiring adult visitors and patients to show photo identification at their three biggest campuses.
Christiana Care said those 16 and older must show the ID to receive a visitor badge at their Newark (Christiana Hospital), Wilmington, and Cecil (Union Hospital) campuses.
Those IDs must be worn at all times while visiting a patient, or arriving for their own appointment.
ChristianaCare recommends arriving a few minutes early to allow for the check-in and badging process.
