JACKSONVILLE – Jaguars 2025 Training Camp continued Tuesday.
It was the fifth day of the first training camp under Head Coach Liam Coen, featuring a two hour practice in helmets and shoulder pads at the Miller Electric Center. Each day throughout camp, members of Jaguars Media – senior writer John Oehser, senior correspondent Brian Sexton, senior reporter/editor J.P. Shadrick and team reporter Kainani Stevens – will share an observation.
Here are Tuesday’s “campservations:”

- Day 6 felt like the first “real camp” practice of ’25 training camp, with Tuesday being the second day in pads – and the first full-length practice in pads – after a four-day pad-less “ramp-up” period and a comparatively short Day 5 practice. The day brought the expected intensity of a full-pad practice in intense Florida heat, and it also brought a breakout day for veteran wide receiver Dyami Brown. Brown, who signed with the Jaguars in March as an unrestricted free agent from Washington, was expected to bring a big-play element to complement wide receivers Brian Thomas Jr. and Travis Hunter. He showed that element big-time throughout the offseason program – and he showed it again Tuesday morning with a multiple long end-around runs and a deep completion late in practice from starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence in a late-game situational drill. He also caught a touchdown pass from Lawrence in red-zone work. This came after the Jaguars began a second practice with a tone-setting early “team run” period. The Jaguars are emphasizing the run and stopping the run under Head Coach Liam Coen, and the first two days have shown that emphasis. We’re into camp now. Time to grind.
