At The Hoboken Girl, supporting local businesses has always been at the heart of what we do (with a green heart, of course). Over the years, we’ve connected with inspiring founders and small business owners whose stories, creativity, and dedication help shape the character of our community. From newly launched ventures to long-standing neighborhood favorites, it’s this shared love of being local that makes Hoboken + Jersey City so special. Small businesses are the backbone of our city, and celebrating them is something we truly love to do.
This incredible community of businesses is exactly why we’re so excited to host our fifth Women’s Business Owner Networking Night with YogaRenew. On Wednesday, September 30th, 2026, Hudson County business owners can meet, connect, + support one another in a cozy setting at YogaRenew. Keep reading for details on The Hoboken Girl’s upcoming Women’s Business Owners Networking Night.
About the Event
This event is happening on Wednesday, September 30th, 2026, from 6PM to 8PM at 12 Hudson Place (2nd Floor) in Hoboken. Tickets go on sale on Sunday, August 30th, and must be purchased in advance for $30. All proceeds will benefit Wise Animal Rescue, a foster-based animal rescue in New Jersey. You can grab your tickets here.
Pssst: We’ll also have a few fosters on-site for attendees to meet and play with (wink).
This two-hour networking night is designed for local women business owners and entrepreneurs in Hudson County with registered LLCs or S-Corps, including those running brick-and-mortar shops and online businesses. The evening will feature interactive experiences from a curated group of vendors, including Shaka Kitchen and Eden Created That.
P.S.: Yes, the giveaways are no joke – but those are staying under wraps for now and will be revealed IRL.
About YogaRenew
YogaRenew is a global community of yoga teachers, students, and innovators who are redefining what modern yoga education can look like. Rooted in tradition, the team leads with curiosity, community, and the belief that yoga should be accessible, transformative, and real.
Headquartered right here in Hoboken, YogaRenew is the leading international online yoga teacher training school. One thing that stands out about YogaRenew is how the team creates a welcoming space for everyone, and this event is no different. They are inviting local business owners to join this charity night and making sure the community remains at the heart of everything they do (both on and off the mat!).
About Wise Animal Rescue
Wise Animal Rescue is a North Jersey-based rescue organization with fosters and volunteers across the Tri-State area. The group focuses on saving dogs of all ages and breeds from situations where they are no longer wanted or are not being properly cared for.
In addition to local rescue work, Wise Animal Rescue also brings puppies to safety from commercial breeding operations, including puppy mills, and provides them with a chance at a better life in New Jersey. The organization works closely with veterinary partners to ensure each animal receives the medical care needed to recover and thrive.
Before any dog is adopted, they are placed in loving foster homes where they are socialized, trained, and prepared for their forever family, rather than being housed in a shelter environment.
About The Hoboken Girl
The Hoboken Girl is a woman-owned, grassroots media company dedicated to connecting Hudson County communities through hyperlocal storytelling. Founded by Hoboken resident Jennifer Tripucka, the brand delivers daily news, features, guides, and newsletters covering everything happening in Hoboken, Jersey City, and the surrounding area.
More than just a media outlet, The Hoboken Girl is part of The Local Girl Media Group, a growing network focused on supporting local businesses and nonprofits through thoughtful coverage and community-driven initiatives. The team is made up of an army of editors and local pros who share fun, engaging content across the website and social channels while also using the platform to highlight organizations doing meaningful work. Because at the root of it all, we shine a light on the places and people that deserve to be noticed.

Giving back is central to the TLG brand. Every day, The Hoboken Girl (and our sister accounts) provide free access to local journalism, support small businesses, amplify nonprofits and the faces behind them, and respond to community needs. Last year, in 2025, The Local Girl Media Group launched its greatest giving effort yet: a $10,000 initiative that will award ten $1,000 donations to New Jersey nonprofits. And we’re not done yet.
