In the Group 1 contest, Matt Lufrano, with 56.63% of votes, defeated LaToya Williams Shelton, who received 43.87% of the votes cast.
A former public defender and private practice attorney who specialized in criminal defense at Lufrano Legal, he graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2009.
Melina Buncome and Octavious Holliday Jr. will have a runoff election on the Nov. 3 general election ballot.
In the Group 9 contest, Assistant State Attorney Octavious Holliday Jr. received 37.22% of votes; Assistant Public Defender Melina Buncome received 33.03% of votes.
Marquita Green received 29.76% of votes.
Holliday and Buncome will have a runoff election on the Nov. 3 general election ballot.
