PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Three people were hurt after a collision involving a light rail in central Phoenix Monday morning.
Around 9 a.m., police and fire crews were called to the crash involving two cars and a light rail at 7th Avenue and Camelback Road. Phoenix police say two passengers on the light rail and a driver from one of the cars were taken to a hospital, but that their injuries weren’t serious.
Eastbound light rail service is expected to be closed for several hours during the investigation. Westbound service was not impacted.
