No one is currently facing charges in connection with the case, police say
SAN ANTONIO – No foul play is suspected in the death of a 2-year-old girl who was the subject of an AMBER Alert in early August, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Aryana Trevino Martinez was found unresponsive in a brush area near the 4700 block of Allegheny Drive, where she was last seen around 8 p.m. on Aug. 2. She was pronounced dead shortly after midnight on Aug. 3.
Martinez’s cause of death is still pending.
On Monday, SAPD also confirmed to KSAT no one is currently facing charges in connection with the case.
Because the case involves a juvenile, SAPD said it cannot release the police report.
SAPD said the case remains active.
