Burger Bodega’s popular smash burgers will soon be available in Katy.
After about four years on Washington Avenue, Burger Bodega is slated to debut a new location at 21904 Franz Road at 11 a.m. Sept. 19. Chef-owner Abbas Dhanani is bringing the same menu to Katy, featuring its signature smash burgers, chopped cheese sandwiches and milkshakes.
“Katy has been on our radar since day one,” Dhanani said in a statement. “It’s one of the most vibrant, food-loving communities in the Houston area, and we’re beyond grateful for the chance to bring Burger Bodega here. This grand opening is for everyone who has supported us since we were slinging burgers out of a backyard pop-up.”
The new location will be able to seat just over 100 guests and includes an outdoor patio. It will have a dedicated pickup and curbside window for to-go orders. Like the first restaurant, it will also feature a New York-inspired atmosphere, with a wall of faux bodega products created by local artist Matthew Tabor.
