The hits keep coming for the Dallas Cowboys in training camp.

First, the team lost tackle Tyler Guyton and guard Rob Jones to injury. Now, cornerback Caelen Carson is dealing with an ailment of his own.

Carson could miss four to six weeks, a person familiar with the injury told The Dallas Morning News, after hyperextending his knee Monday.

The injury adds some extra context to Dallas’ addition of cornerback Christian Matthew earlier Tuesday morning.

Other players at the position, including Trevon Diggs, Shavon Revel, Josh Butler and DaRon Bland have also been dealing with various situations keeping them off the field during camp.

Carson was a fifth-round draft pick by the Cowboys in 2024. He appeared in six games (five starts) last season.
