SAN ANTONIO — In the wake of three motorcycle fatalities in less than 48 hours, a local non-profit is urging riders to “ride smart, stay alive.”

The call to action follows a meeting and moment of silence held at Caliente Harley-Davidson, where riders and community members gathered to honor the victims.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner has identified one of the motorcyclists killed over the weekend as 25-year-old Chandler Krueger.

According to police, Krueger died Saturday night after speeding through a red light at Southwest Military Drive and Logwood Avenue, where he collided with a pickup truck.
