Mayor Brandon Johnson did not mince words Tuesday when asked about a recent social media post from President Donald Trump criticizing the city’s handling of violence following the largest mass shooting in Chicago so far this year. And Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, also a frequent critic of the president, fired back in his own social media post. It started with a pre-dawn post from Trump early Tuesday morning, after a shooting on the South Side over the weekend left one person dead and at least 14 others wounded.
