Rumors that Minnesota Wild game streams are moving to Amazon Prime Video in 2026-27 bubbled up earlier this week, when reports out of Dallas revealed that the Stars were one of six teams expected to make online jump to Jeff Bezos’ popular streaming service.
It had was not yet official, at the time, but the Wild were listed — along with the Ducks, Canes, Blue Jackets and Blues — as another team expected to be in the deal, when it eventually went public.

And on Wednesday morning, it did. According to the Wild’s official team media release, their new TV network has been named “Wild+.” Of note: Fans living out of network will have to subscribe to ESPN+ or NHL Center Ice
The Minnesota Wild will launch Wild+, a team-owned and operated multimedia network, this season. Fans will be able to watch Wild games through multiple distribution platforms, including Prime Video, cable, satellite and over-the-air television.
We do not yet know what kind of hoops fans who want to watch games on their standard cable, satellite or universal streaming providers (like YouTube TV) will have to jump through, or what it will cost. More information on that is coming soon, according to the Wild.
How much does Wild+ cost on Prime Video?
But we learned officially on Wednesday that Minnesota Wild fans who live within the local hockey market — which includes Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, plus parts of Iowa and Wisconsin — will be able to pay $19.99 per month or $99.99 for the year to stream Wild+ through Amazon Prime Video.
You do NOT need an Amazon Prime subscription to purchase a Wild+ package, you just need a free Amazon account. Additionally, if you so already pay for Amazon Prime, you must still subscribe separately for Wild+, in order to stream games on Prime Video..
Fans within the Minnesota Wild local broadcast territory can watch Wild games on Prime Video by purchasing either a monthly ($19.99) or annual ($99.99) subscription. The subscription is available for all Amazon customers.

According to Michael Russo, the Minnesota Wild are still negotiating carriage deals with legacy TV outlets and universal streaming platforms, to try and make games available wherever possible.
More than likely, platforms who have made a point to carry Wild games in the past — like Xfinity (cable), Spectrum (cable), DirecTV and Fubo (stream) — will have packages available that carry Wild+, and those channels are expected to be the same or similar as what users have gotten used to.
It’s up in the air whether or not the Wild make games available on platforms that haven’t had them in the past, like YouTube TV, Dish Network, etc. From the sounds of it, though, games will be much more findable than they have been recently.
