San Antonio Zoo’s Community Locals Day on Sept. 5 offers $8 admission to all, featuring exhibits like Congo Falls and Zoorassic Park.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio families can enjoy the immersive exhibits of the San Antonio Zoo on Saturday, Sept. 5, for discounted admission during its Community Locals Day event.

The expanded Locals Day, now called “Community Locals Day” offers $8 admission to all guests and visitors. It was previously limited to Bexar County residents.

This Saturday’s Community Locals Day spotlights the City of San Antonio’s District 6 neighborhood, though the discount applies to all guests. 

Visitors can a check out Congo Falls, a two-acre gorilla habitat that teaches conservation and gorilla care. Congo Falls is free with zoo admission.  This will also the be the last chance to check out Zoorassic Park with a discount. The exhibit lifelike dinosaurs throughout the park. The last day to experience Zoorassic Park is Monday, Sept. 7.
