TEXAS (KAUZ) – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has announced Anthony Dewayne Oliver, a repeat offender from Dallas, as the Featured Fugitive for September 2026.
64-year-old Anthony Dewayne Oliver has been wanted out of Dallas Co. since January 2026, after a warrant was issued for his arrest for two counts of assault of a family/household member.
DPS shared that since the 1990s, Oliver has been convicted of and served prison time for robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and forgery of a financial instrument.
Oliver is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds, with tattoos on his chest, left wrist, right forearm, and upper right arm, according to DPS.
As the Featured Fugitive, the reward for information leading to his arrest is increased to $4,000 during September if the tip is received this month.
To be eligible for cash rewards, DPS said tipsters must provide information to authorities using one of the following three methods:
- Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
- Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, then clicking on the link under their picture.
- Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).
Texas DPS shared that all tips are anonymous, regardless of how they are submitted.
