It’s been a HOT week! 🥵☀️ Jacksonville and nearby areas are facing the hottest days of summer, and an extreme heat warning was issued on Tuesday. “Feels like” temperature soared to between 111 and 113 degrees, making outdoor conditions especially uncomfortable.

If you’re headed to an outdoor event this weekend, stay hydrated, cool, and remain in the shade.

Adventure Landing’s Teacher Appreciation Weekend: August 2–3 🆓/💰 “Before the school year kicks off, Adventure Landing’s Shipwreck Island Waterpark in Northeast Florida is giving educators a reason to celebrate with a Teacher Appreciation Weekend, happening August 2 and 3. Last year’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 saw Harrison Burton secure a playoff spot with his first career Cup Series victory by a margin of .047 seconds. The 2025 Wawa 250 Powered by Coca-Cola will take place on Friday, Aug. 22, and the Coke Zero Sugar 400 will take place on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025.
