SAN ANTONIO — A woman was hospitalized after an early morning shooting Saturday near a motel just south of downtown.
The shooting happened around 1:38 a.m. in the 1100 block of Roosevelt Avenue.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, a 35-year-old woman was hanging out with two men near the motel when an argument broke out between the two men.
One man pulled out a firearm and began shooting toward the other man. The woman was struck once in the leg. She was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
The woman provided police with a description of the shooter and he was located shortly after. The suspect, 19, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to SAPD.
