Witnesses reported hearing an argument and gunfire before a suspect fled on foot, according to investigators

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man was fatally shot Friday night near a set of horse stables in the 500 block of Gulf Bank Road in north Harris County, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the area around 11:55 p.m. after receiving a report of a shooting involving a person in danger. They found an unidentified Hispanic man, believed to be about 30 years old, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Deputies performed life-saving measures until EMS arrived and pronounced him dead.
A witness told investigators the victim had been involved in a verbal argument with another man before several shots were fired. The suspect then ran north from the property, according to HCSO.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic man around 40 years old, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, with an average build. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
