Amber Alert issued for missing 14-year-old in Monterey County – NBC Los Angeles

An Amber Alert was issued Sunday for a teenager who went missing in Monterey County.

The California Highway Patrol said 14-year-old Diana Galvez Ortega was last seen with 38-year-old Sergio Galvez Perez near Constitution Boulevard and East Laurel Drive in Salinas around 2 a.m. on Aug. 4. The relationship between the two, if any, remains unclear.

The suspected vehicle was described as a white Nissan Altima with no plates.

The alert, issued by the CHP on behalf of the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office, went out to those in Monterey, San Luis Obispo, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, Orange and Imperial counties.
