Dallas Independent School District (ISD) is preparing for the 2025-2026 school year with a Back to School Kickoff event on August 2nd at Ellis Davis Field House. The event will allow families to register their students, connect with campus staff, and obtain necessary resources. Dallas ISD is a premier destination district with 140,000 students across 228 schools, offering programs for college, career, and beyond. The first day of school is scheduled for August 12th. Enrollment

Vaccinations
According to Texas Law, all students enrolling in Dallas ISD must provide proof of required immunizations before the first date of attendance. For the current immunization list, please visit DallasISD.org./BacktoSchool.
School supplies
All Dallas ISD students are required to follow the clear backpack policy. The district has prepared a basic list of suggested school supplies for students, however we encourage all families to check the individual campuses for listings of required school supplies.
