Samsung’s One UI 8 update is likely launching to the masses in the next few weeks, with the latest Galaxy S25 beta release now rolling out with fixes in tow.
One UI 8 has technically already launched on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, but Samsung’s take on Android 16 has yet to roll out to the rest of the Galaxy lineup. That’s not to say it isn’t close, though, as the latest beta has just landed.
As spotted by Max Jambor and many others, One UI 8 Beta 4 is now rolling out to the Galaxy S25 series.
The update weighs in at roughly 1.3GB and carries a changelog full of fixes, including fixing fullscreen videos on DeX as has been noted as a problem with the current Android 16-based iteration. The update also packs the July 2025 security patch.

Samsung is likely to release the One UI 8 stable update in the near future, but this latest beta suggests that we probably won’t see anything until at least mid-late August, if not September.
