Two Dallas police employees were terminated during Wednesday disciplinary hearings with Chief Daniel Comeaux, the department announced Wednesday in a news release.
According to the release, Officer Jason Brower, who worked in the Auto Pound Unit, was fired for “failing to complete departmentally mandated training courses” before they were due and having “an indifference toward work.” This included “loafing, sleeping, inattention and failing to remain at his workstation,” the department said.
Brower had been employed with the department since September 2001, according to the release.
Kenyon Campbell, who served as a police dispatch analyst in the Communications Division, was fired for “causing a disturbance in the workplace,” the department said. He’d been employed with the department since April 2008.
