Wizards and muggles alike can cast spells and fraternize with Hippogriffs, unicorns and Nifflers at the new, interactive Harry Potter experience coming to a Chicago suburb in early October.
The Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience is making its midwestern debut on October 3 in the woodlands of Ingleside.
The exhibit will be open at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday at YMCA Camp Duncan, 32405 North U.S. Highway 12 in Ingleside.
Fans can experience iconic wizarding world moments first-hand on a trail through a spellbinding forest. Lights in the forest will illuminate at the wave of a wand, offering a truly magical experience.
Magical creatures from the world of Harry Potter and the Fantastic Beats are scattered throughout the exhibit.

The trail takes approximately 45 to 75 minutes to complete, according to the website.
A themed village where visitors can shop at the giftshop and enjoy food and drinks, including the iconic Butterbeer, sits at the end of the trail.
