The stabbing victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.
UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) — A man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in the buttocks just after 4 p.m. Saturday on 88th Street and 3rd Avenue on the Upper East Side.
Police say a 26-year-old man was taken to New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell in stable condition.
The attacker fled on foot, but a man was later taken into custody. Charges are pending.
Police have not given a motive for the stabbing.
