PHOENIX — One person is dead, and two others were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash in west Phoenix on Sunday morning.
The Phoenix Fire Department responded to the collision near 57th Avenue and Indian School Road around 6 a.m., authorities said.
Three people were evaluated at the scene, and extrication was needed, crews said.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while paramedics took another man to the hospital in “extremely critical” condition, and a woman to the hospital in “stable” condition.
The investigation was later turned over to Phoenix police.
No other information was made available.
