If Arsenal were to get wrapped up in that, then they would still be stuck waiting to land the forward.
Similar goes for Alexander Isak, as Liverpool and Newcastle are both battling it out over the future of the Swedish international.
Instead, Arteta can get stuck into teaching Gyokeres about the tactical automations within his team for the new season, so he can hit the ground running.

Arsenal will be hoping that the early business they have conducted in the transfer market will be enough to bring them success.
The Gunners have a difficult start to the season, facing plenty of their rivals in the early weeks, which adds to the challenge.
Getting bodies through the door and ready to compete from the start should help Arsenal get off to a quicker start.
With the striker issues solved, it won’t be something hanging over their head in the next few weeks, as full focus is placed on their trip to Old Trafford.
