A new kind of workout is rolling into the Valley, combining high-energy fitness with spiritual inspiration. The Underground Phoenix is launching SOUL+FULL, a 45-minute indoor cycling class set to gospel and contemporary Christian music, designed to elevate both body and soul.

The class debuts Saturday, Aug. 16, with additional sessions scheduled through September. Led by Coach Harmony, SOUL+FULL uses a silent disco format, where participants wear personal headsets for a fully immersive audio experience.

“Turns out people want more than tap backs and Beyoncé,” said Stephanie Schwartz, founder of The Underground Phoenix. “They’re spiritual beings craving connection — real, raw, and rooted in purpose. SOUL+FULL is one way we’re answering that call.”

Unlike traditional spin classes focused on metrics and leaderboards, SOUL+FULL emphasizes presence over performance. With heart-pumping intervals and moments of reflection, the class encourages participants to sweat, surrender, and engage in spiritual connection—sometimes even mid-hill climb “Amens.”

The new offering reflects a broader national trend: Americans, particularly younger generations, are increasingly seeking faith experiences outside traditional religious settings. From beach baptisms to Bible studies in cafés, spirituality is finding new expression—and SOUL+FULL rides that wave.

Designed for all fitness levels, the class is open to anyone looking for a unique blend of worship and wellness. Drop-in classes cost $30, with a 20% discount available using the code “BLESSED.”

Upcoming SOUL+FULL rides are scheduled for:

  • Saturday, Aug. 16 at 10:45 a.m.

  • Saturday, Aug. 23 at 10:45 a.m.

  • Saturday, Sept. 13 at 10:45 a.m.

  • Saturday, Sept. 20 at 10:45 a.m.
