ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Athletics and the CW Twin Cities have agreed to a three-year partnership to broadcast men’s hockey home games, announced on Monday. The agreement will begin with the upcoming 2025-26 season, will run through the 2027-28 season and will expand the reach of Husky Hockey across the region and state of Minnesota.

“We are excited about this new partnership and additional opportunities it provides our program, our wonderful fans and future Huskies,” said Director of Athletics Holly Schreiner. “We are looking forward to the next three seasons of Husky Hockey on the CW.”

“We are so excited for our program to be on the CW for the next three seasons,” said head coach Brett Larson. “The opportunity to bring Husky Hockey into homes across central Minnesota and the Twin Cities is a game-changer, not only for our incredible fans, but for the future of our program. Being able to showcase our team each weekend helps us connect with the next generation of high school players growing up in the State of Hockey. It’s a powerful tool for recruiting, for building community support, and for continuing to grow the tradition of Husky Hockey.”

“Starting October 4th, we’re proud to partner with St. Cloud State Huskies Hockey to homes across Minnesota on our CW Broadcast TV,” said Clint Jamison, The CW Twin Cities Director of Sales. “This partnership gives fans — from the Twin Cities to Greater Minnesota — access to Friday and Saturday night hockey action like never before. It’s a win for local sports and a big step forward in expanding CW Sports programming for our viewers.

During the 2025-26 season, all 18 regular season home games and one exhibition game will be televised on the CW. The voice of the Huskies Jim Erickson returns to provide play-by-play for his second season on TV with former Husky captain Geno Parrish on color commentary for his fourth season. In addition to home coverage on the CW, all National Collegiate Hockey Conference games, home and away, will be streamed live online at NCHC.tv (subscription required).

Under the new agreement, all regular season Friday home games will start at 7:00 p.m. CT, while Saturday contests will begin at 6:00 p.m. CT (puck drop at 7:07 and 6:07, respectively). SCSU’s lone exhibition on Friday, Oct. 3 is the lone exception and will start at 6:00 p.m. CT.

For the 33rd season, St. Cloud State’s student-led Husky Productions will provide all the production and television elements for the home game broadcasts. Affectionally known as “HP”, the award-winning and student-run sports production organization routinely contributes to St. Cloud State University’s top-20 ranking nationally in sports broadcasting schools by the STAA.
