“The Dana Cortez Show” is officially back in the Valley. Through its syndication partner Skyview Networks, the show has returned to Zelus Media Group classic hip-hop “Power 98.3” KKFR in Phoenix, in the midday slot as of today (Aug. 4). Hosted by Dana Cortez, DJ Automatic, and Anthony A., the trio reunites with “Power 98.3” following a five-year run on the station from 2019 to 2024.
“Dana, Automatic and Anthony A. are family to Power, and it’s time they come back home,” Program Director Jonathan “J” Steele said in a news release. “So many of our listeners missed the show. The chemistry between the three of them is undeniable.”
Known for its authentic blend of humor, interviews and culturally relevant content, “The Dana Cortez Show” has built a strong connection with listeners in Phoenix and beyond. The return to KKFR reinforces the show’s roots in the market and its continued appeal in key demos.
“We’re thrilled to welcome ‘The Dana Cortez Show’ back to Power 98.3, where it truly belongs,” added Michael Cutchall, CEO and President of Zelus Media Group. “Dana is a powerhouse talent with deep roots in the Valley. Her connection with our audience, her authenticity, and the energy she brings are unmatched.”
Dana Cortez echoed the excitement. “We’re so excited to be back on in Phoenix working with Michael, J Steele and the whole Power team,” she said. “We can’t wait to reconnect with our listeners in the Valley and entertain them with interviews, real conversations and, of course, their favorite, ‘Down in the DM.’”
Skyview Networks SVP Andrew Kalb called the Phoenix return a key milestone. “Bringing ‘The Dana Cortez Show’ back to Phoenix is a strong reflection of the commitment to serve the community with content that is both authentic and engaging,” Kalb said. “Dana, Auto, and Anthony A. deeply resonate with the Phoenix audience.”
