ONSLOW COUNTY, NC — A 24-year-old woman from Jacksonville is facing serious charges after allegedly crashing her vehicle into her ex-husband’s car while her children were in the vehicle with her.
Sharon Leslie was arrested on Monday, August 4 by deputies with the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office, according to warrants.
Leslie is charged with multiple offenses, including three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of misdemeanor child abuse, and a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence. According to online records, Leslie intentionally drove her vehicle into her ex-husband’s car while he was driving.
The warrants reveal that Leslie had two children, both under the age of 16 in her vehicle at the time of the crash.
Leslie is currently being held at the Onslow County Detention Center without bond.
