PHOENIX — A one-year-old child is in extremely critical condition after being found unresponsive in a backyard pool, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
When firefighters arrived at the scene near the intersection of 43rd and Southern avenues, family members were administering CPR.
It is unknown how long the child was in the pool.
The Community Assistance Program was sent to the home to assist family members.
Phoenix police are investigating the incident.
