The Dallas Mavericks announced they will host a preseason game in Fort Worth at Dickies Arena against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday, Oct. 6, at 7:30 p.m., presented by UT Southwestern Medical Center.
A “Pregame Roundup” party will take place for ticketed fans and the first 5,000 fans through the doors to the game will receive a commemorative bandana.
“As we head into this upcoming season, playing in Fort Worth is the perfect opportunity to engage all of our fans across the metroplex,” said Mavericks CEO Rick Welts. “This partnership with our neighbor city reinforces our commitment to bringing exciting Mavericks basketball to the entire North Texas community.”
“We’re thrilled to welcome the Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder to Dickies Arena for this headline preseason matchup,” said Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker. “Fort Worth continues to shine as a premier destination for world-class sports and culture — from professional rodeo and NCAA championships to now NBA basketball. We look forward to the excitement, energy, and visitors this game will bring to our vibrant city.”
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Aug. 5, and Wednesday, Aug. 6, for Club Maverick Members, and Thursday, Aug. 7, for the general public.
