SPOKANE, Wash. — As the 2025–26 college basketball season approaches, Gonzaga’s nonconference schedule continues to take shape.

The Bulldogs will open the season hosting Texas Southern of the SWAC on Nov. 3 at the McCarthey Athletic Center. The Tigers announced their full nonconference schedule earlier this week. Tipoff time and television details will be announced at a later date.

Gonzaga and Texas Southern have met five times previously, all in Spokane, dating back to 2008. The Zags own a perfect 5–0 record in the series, winning each meeting by at least 28 points. Their most dominant win came in 2008, when they defeated the Tigers 84–42.

Texas Southern finished 15–17 overall last season and went 12–6 in SWAC play, placing fourth in the conference standings. The Tigers averaged 72.7 points per game but lost their leading scorer to graduation. They return just one double-digit scorer, Zaire Hayes, who averaged 10.4 points per game.

After the opener against Texas Southern, Gonzaga will host Oklahoma at Spokane Arena on Nov. 8 before welcoming Creighton to The Kennel on Nov. 11.
