An actor famous for playing Superman has announced he has joined ICE, and is encouraging others to do the same.
Dean Cain, a Mount Clemens, Michigan native, starred in “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” from 1993-1997. In recent years, he has starred in several Christmas films and Lifetime movies.
Cain took to X and Instagram to let people know he joined the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, adding that, besides being a filmmaker, he was already a sworn law enforcement officer.
“I felt it was important to join with our first responders to help secure the safety of all Americans, not just talk about it. So, I joined up.”
He continued by encouraging others to follow in his footsteps.
“Here’s your opportunity to join ICE. You can earn lots of great benefits and pay. Since President Trump took office, ICE has arrested hundreds of thousands of criminals including terrorists, rapists, murderers, pedophiles, MS-13 gang members, drug traffickers, you name it, very dangerous people who are no longer on the streets.”
Cain then went over some of the benefits of joining.
“You can defend your homeland and get great benefits like a $50,000 signing bonus. Think about that, student loan repayment. Legally. Enhanced retirement benefits and special pay for those in field operations and law enforcement roles.”
“So, if you want to help save America, ICE is arresting the worst of the worst and removing them from America’s Streets. I like that. I voted for that. They need your help. We need your help to protect our homeland and our families.”
Cain also hosted “Ripley’s Believe it or Not” and “Masters of Illusion and starred in “Rat Race,” “Out of Time,” “A Different World,” “Beverly Hills 90210,” and “Las Vegas.”
