Some new faces lead low Single-A Lake Elsinore to a win on Wednesday.

Dylan Grego drove in the go-ahead run in the ninth inning, Ryan Wideman collected three hits and Jorge Quintana reached base twice in the Storm’s 4-2 win at Rancho Cucamonga.

All three were playing in their first game in the organization.

Quintana is the 18-year-old switch-hitting shortstop the Padres received from the Brewers in the Nestor Cortes-Brandon Lockridge swap.

Wideman, an outfielder, was drafted in the third round last month out of Western Kentucky. He drove in two runs, including an insurance run in the ninth inning.

Grego, a second baseman, was drafted in the 13th round out of Ball State.

Left-hander Kash Mayfield (3.25 ERA) struck out five and allowed two runs on three hits and three walks in four innings in the start.

Lake Elsinore is 48-56.
