Police Lights and Crime Scene Tape (KPRC2/Click2Houston.com)
A pedestrian was stabbed and then struck by a vehicle in a violent early morning incident on Houston’s east side. Emergency crews responded just before 6 a.m. and quickly realized the case involved more than just a crash.
According to the Houston Fire Department, crews responded to a call around 5:54 a.m. in the 4900 block of N. Drennan Street near Lovejoy.
When firefighters arrived, they found the pedestrian had not only been hit by a vehicle but had sustained stab wounds from a prior altercation.
The condition of the victim has not been released. Houston police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding both the stabbing and the crash.
