Rasmus Hojlund has overtaken Dusan Vlahovic to become the main striker target for AC Milan, according to Sky.
It is well known that Milan are in the market for a new centre-forward, and the name that has never left the frame is Vlahovic. The Serbian has been told he can leave Juventus, and patience could see him land at Milan even if the economic meeting point is not close currently.
Thus, other names have been mentioned as clubs begin to get more desperate offloading players they don’t want and agents get to work too. Enter Rasmus Hojlund…
Rasmus now in pole
Peppe Di Stefano spoke live on Sky yesterday evening and gave a brief update on Milan’s pursuit of a new No.9, and he confirmed that the Manchester United man is a target.
“Hojlund could be the solution for the attack. Young and strong. If Sesko were to arrive at United, a loan solution could be considered. We are not ruling out Vlahovic’s name, but at the moment Hojlund is in pole position,” he said (via MilanNews).
A report on Sky‘s website also confirms that the Red Devils could sanction a loan operation if they get Sesko. Hojlund though cost them €75m plus €10m bonuses, and has 26 goals in 95 appearances, after scoring 10 goals in 34 games for Atalanta as a teenager.
