It’s certainly going to be a new-look Missouri Tigers football team in 2025 as the program enters year six of the Eli Drinkwitz era starting on Thursday, August 28th against Central Arkansas.
With the departures of Brady Cook, Luther Burden III, Theo Wease Jr., and others – it was an offseason necessity for Drinkwitz to be active in the transfer portal especially on the offensive end. And he was — bringing in a top 10 transfer portal class per multiple recruiting outlets. While national expectations are not as high due to the roster turnover, there’s still a lot of talent on this team to get excited about.
Of the notable newcomers to join the Tigers, there’s Penn State quarterback transfer Beau Pribula, ULM running back transfer Ahmad Hardy, and Mississippi State wide receiver transfer Kevin Coleman Jr. that highlight the offensive skill positions.
Pribula is looking to thrive at Missouri after backing up to Drew Allar at Penn State. There’s a lot of hype surrounding Ahmad Hardy as he is coming off a freshman All-American season at Louisiana-Monroe. And the St. Louis native Kevin Coleman Jr. will look to have a special homecoming in store as he was named a third-team preseason All-SEC selection and also landed on the Biletnikoff Award Watch List.
For this week’s reacts survey, we ask you this: Which offensive newcomer are you most excited to watch this season? Let us know.
